In the episode “Monsters of the Rockies” which features Sturgeon Slayers President and Guide Kevin Estrada, they successfully hooked, landed and tagged the largest Sturgeon ever on a TV program. Measuring 10’4 to the fork in the tail with a 60” plus girth, the monster weighed an estimated 900lbs!

Pepper Stebbins who came second place is originally from Wisconsin but runs a bed and breakfast in Brazil, hosted a unique trip filled with culture and history, as they searched for Peacock Bass. Sean McSeveney, from England was the lucky man up on the giant Sturgeon and the only one to catch a fish in Brazil, unfortunately he feel apart when it came to his home turf on hosting and fishing.
